      The Story

Turquoise and Quartz dazzle in this two-sided ring. The graphic-shaped gemstones rest between your fingers as though they are simply floating.

We discovered this stunning Turquoise on Cloud Mountain in central China. The mine has been around for a thousand years and its stones are considered some of the highest quality in the world. Every piece is different. Some stones will have more or less black matrix lines and can vary in color and hue. But this is the allure of Turquoise: each piece is as unique as you.

      The Inspiration

A miner holds a bright blue stone she’s just unearthed from the mountainside. Pointing to the expansive sky around us, she says “The best Turquoise is the color of that sky.”

      Cloud Mountain Turquoise

A mix of sky blues and sea greens, Turquoise symbolizes heaven on earth. The gemstone represents positive energy, awakening a greater sense of peace for the wearer. Its matrix lines form over millions of years, each unique like a snowflake. We personally traveled to Cloud Mountain in China, the site of arguably the best Turquoise in the world. Often “Turquoise” jewelry is actually reconstructed and made with chips of the stone combined with dyes and plastic. We only use the finest of raw Turquoise which is naturally soft and not much harder than window glass. For this reason, the color naturally evolves over time as the stone interacts with the skin of the wearer.
