      The Story

This necklace is inspired by Asia’s famous plum blossoms that bloom in the middle of winter, with bright reds and deep pinks, representing hope even in the hardest of times. The pendant’s Quartz has been infused with plum blossom-red color and rests into a rectangular gold setting. Think of it as a window looking out at a riotous red mountainside, no matter where you are.

      The Inspiration

Before the last snow melts and the sparrow has returned, plum blossom trees sprout bursts of red, coloring the barren landscape. Hope is in the air.

      Quartz from Central Asia

The lore of Quartz stretches back to the beginning of man. Ancient Pharaohs wore it for healing and Aborigines used it to call the rain, the bringer of life. Today, Quartz is still thought to bring healing to the mind, body, and spirit. We infuse our Central Asian Quartz crystals with red dye to capture the vivid color of coral as it grows into splendid sea reefs. We never use actual red coral because harvesting it is unsustainable and harmful to the environment. Please don’t support businesses that sell coral. It is a living organism and a vital part of our ecosystem. It should be treasured where it lies in the sea.
