The Story
This gold pendant is inspired by the beauty within drops of water. The pattern comes from a drawing in my sketchbook of water drops on rocks by a waterfall, caught in the sun’s golden light. Great for layering with a 70’s vibe, this necklace adds a splash of gold to any outfit.
The Inspiration
After a long hike through the Wuyi Mountains, I came across a waterfall streaming out of the rock. I plunged under the fall’s icy stream to soothe my aching muscles. Afterwards I lay sunning on a rock taking in my surroundings. Tiny drops of water, like pure crystals, studded the stones around me, gleaming gold in the sunlight.
